Job Title: Neonatologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist to join our team at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine. As a Neonatologist, you will provide medical care to newborns and their families, while also contributing to research and education in the field of neonatology.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to newborns and their families in the regional neonatal care unit and developmental assessment clinic at Sparrow hospital in Lansing, Michigan.
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in the department of pediatrics and human development.
  • Participate in research or other scholarly activity in the field of neonatology.
  • Regularly attend departmental and divisional meetings, and committee service as requested by your Department(s), College(s), and/or University.
  • Special assignments as directed by the division chief of neonatology and the department chair.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Board certification (or eligible for certification) in neonatal perinatal medicine.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as physicians in the state of Michigan.
  • Eligible for privileges at our partnered facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in stem cell research.
