Swim Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at Goldfish Swim School - Lakewood Ranch. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching students of all ages and skill levels how to swim and stay safe in and around the water.

• Deliver high-quality swim lessons to students, focusing on water safety and proper swimming techniques.
• Enforce pool safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all students.
• Evaluate student progress and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and development.
• Represent Goldfish Swim School - Lakewood Ranch in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Identify and resolve any challenges or issues that students may encounter during lessons.
• Conduct regular pool area inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Report any accidents or incidents to management and complete required documentation.
• Perform light cleaning duties as needed, such as window washing and deck mopping.
• Participate in mandatory workshops and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and techniques.

We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent and prior swimming experience. CPR, AED, and First Aid certification is preferred, but training will be provided for those interested in the position.

As a Swim Instructor, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to heat and humidity.
