Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assessments, developing care plans, implementing and evaluating patient care. The RN will administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in accordance with current clinical nursing practice.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans for patients in the ICU
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care
  • Perform a range of technical services to comprehensively serve patient needs
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a license to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nursing or licensure from a state within the Nursing Compact. Certifications as indicated by the Steward Certification document are also required.
