Outpatient Surgical Registered Nurse

Directly reports to the Supervisor of Outpatient Services and the Director of Surgical Services.
Essential Skills
Candidates must demonstrate strong critical thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to operate independently. The ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and respond appropriately is crucial.
Licensure and Certification Requirements
Mandatory Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is also required within one year of employment.
Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or possess Compact licensure that includes Virginia, maintaining good standing with the Board of Health Professions.
