Job Title: Nursing Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Nursing Instructor to join our team at Wytheville Community College. The successful candidate will provide quality instruction in the clinical and laboratory settings for a range of entry and intermediate-level courses across all Nursing programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach nursing courses in a clinical and laboratory setting
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive learning experience
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education

Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
  • Unrestricted license to practice as an RN in Virginia
  • Valid driver's license
  • Recent clinical nursing experience in medical surgical nursing
  • Commitment to teaching excellence
  • Good communication skills and organizational ability
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
