Key Responsibilities
Service Assistance – Acts as a support to Service Technicians, covering for absences and providing extra assistance as needed. Temporarily takes over routes that are not assigned to a regular Technician.
Pest Management - Conducts thorough inspections to identify pest activity sources. Provides services for residential and commercial pest control clients. Completes exterior sealing on properties to prevent rodent and wildlife entry. Performs inspections for Wood Destroying Organisms. Drills and treats for Dry Wood and Subterranean Termites, fungi, and beetles. Installs and maintains termite control systems for clients.
Minor Construction and Repairs – Engages in light construction tasks including patios, doors, eaves, walls, and floors. Assists Repair Technicians with wood damage replacement.
Ongoing Education – Gains expertise in the range of available pest control products and services. Remains updated on the latest industry developments, trends, technologies, and regulations. Participates in employer-sponsored training on new methods, products, and services offered.
Position Requirements
- Successfully pass pre-employment background screening
- Hold a valid driver's license and undergo a motor vehicle driving record check
- Availability to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays during peak demand periods
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in customer-facing roles preferred
Additional Skills and Attributes
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools
- Comfortable working at heights (e.g., climbing ladders up to 20 feet)
- Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
- Willingness to learn about pest control products and services
- Comfortable working independently after a training period
