Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at American Oncology Management Company. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiation oncology department.

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to written prescriptions and treatment plans, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Radiation Therapist I in the absence of the Radiology Team Lead.
• Document treatment set-ups, doses, and calculations accurately and legibly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the radiation oncology team.
• Respond to emergency situations, provide first aid, and CPR as needed.
• Evaluate and assess treatment delivery components, performing quality assurance and quality control checks.
• Maintain values congruent with the profession's code of ethics and scope of practice.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Certified as a Registered Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current CPR/BLS certifications.
• Fluency in the English language and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is desirable.
