Job Overview

South Omaha Surgical Center LLC is seeking a skilled Medical Biller and Financial Recovery Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable and Collections: Manage and follow up on outstanding accounts, ensuring timely payment from patients and insurance companies.
  • AR Policy Review and Development: Conduct regular reviews of AR policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing updates as necessary.
  • Denial Management: Investigate and resolve denied claims, minimizing lost revenue and improving cash flow.
  • A/R Management: Analyze and report on A/R metrics, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain consistent follow-up with patients and providers to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare and review A/R reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in medical billing software.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing and collections.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
