GM Diesel Technician - Duramax Diesel HD Technician Experience

Duke Chevrolet GMC is seeking a skilled GM Diesel Technician to join our service team. As a family-owned and operated business with a reputation for integrity, employee satisfaction, and customer loyalty, we offer a great work environment and opportunities for growth.

We are looking for a technician with 5+ years of experience working on Duramax Diesel and HD vehicles, as well as a Virginia State Inspectors License. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent teamwork skills, and a great attitude, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership requirements and the up most ethics
  • Perform Virginia State Inspections, maintenance, alignments, minor brake and suspension work
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
