Job Title: Installer & Service Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Installer & Service Engineer to join our team at Brown's Medical Imaging. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and maintenance of medical imaging equipment in hospitals and medical facilities across the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and calibrate medical imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications and facility requirements.
  • Ensure proper alignment, configuration, and functionality of all components.
  • Collaborate with facility staff to plan and execute installations with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Perform initial testing and calibration of equipment to ensure accurate and reliable imaging and compliance with OEM specifications.
  • Conduct thorough performance checks and make necessary adjustments.
  • Verify compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with technical support teams and manufacturers for complex repairs and upgrades.
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, calibrations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for clients and management.

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Certification in medical equipment installation & maintenance a plus.
  • Strong understanding of technology and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong remote management and follow-up methodology.
  • Ability to travel, air, train, car, within the United States on a regular basis.
  • Experience uncovering trends and discovering root cause impacts of potential operational issues.
