Assistant Golf Professional

The role of the Assistant Golf Professional is essential in supporting the daily functions of the golf facility, encompassing pro-shop operations and outdoor activities. Key responsibilities include enhancing revenue streams, overseeing assets, and advocating for the sport through instructional sessions, competitions, and retail offerings.

Qualifications
  • Preferred PGA PGM Associate or Member status
  • College degree is advantageous; a high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Required experience in customer service and comprehensive golf knowledge
  • Strong capabilities in team leadership, organization, and coaching
  • Familiarity with tee sheet management and inventory control systems
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
Key Duties
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve member inquiries
  • Oversee golfer check-ins, tee time scheduling, and guest fee collection
  • Maintain outdoor service areas in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Uphold high service standards by adhering to established service protocols
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety regulations
  • Promote golfing events and activities to club members
  • Address member and guest grievances in a timely manner
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks in high-pressure situations
  • Facilitate club events and oversee tournaments and special occasions
  • Engage in club activities while maintaining a professional demeanor
