Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Solar Electrician Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our solar division, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of solar power systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the safe and efficient installation of solar power systems, identifying potential risks and taking corrective action as needed.
  2. Lead and instruct journeymen in specific craft tasks, including safety procedures and techniques.
  3. Collaborate with other craft disciplines to coordinate work and prevent jurisdictional conflicts.
  4. Read and interpret blueprints, understand job specifications, and implement Bechtel job procedures and work rules.
  5. Inspect finished work for quality and completeness, ensuring it meets accepted construction standards.
  6. Understand project priorities and schedules, completing planned work on time.
  7. Identify potential problems and take quick remedial action when necessary.
  8. Be familiar with project cost control procedures and committed to staying within established cost goals and unit rate standards.
  9. Submit accurate reports regarding time sheets, backcharges, quantity, and work status.

Requirements

Typically requires 6 years of industrial construction experience, with 2 years in supervisory roles.
