Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing wireless network solutions that meet the evolving needs of the Department of Defense (DoD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement wireless network architectures that ensure security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical systems.
  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions that integrate encryption gear, routing and switching, and network transport layers.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and address network vulnerabilities and cyber risks.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to optimize network performance and troubleshoot end-user performance issues.
  • Work with customers to install capture agents and collect and analyze network data to identify patterns and trends.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with VMware, Cisco networking, or switching devices.
  • 5+ years of experience with network architecture, databases, TCP/IP, VLANs, cyber vulnerability remediation, and cyber risk analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience working with traffic capture tools, including NETSCOUT, Schnoz, NIKSUN, and Riverbed ARX.
  • Knowledge of network devices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, routers, switches, and load balancers.
  • Ability to work with customers to install capture agents and collect and analyze network data.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of experience with network engineering in lieu of a degree.
  • IAT or IAM Level II or III Certification, including CISSP Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) and Security Readiness Guidelines (SRGs).
  • Ability to produce high-quality reports and recommendations for clients.
  • Windows certifications.
  • Completion of CANES or ISNS Training, or CISCO and Virtualization Training, including VMware or Hyper-V.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172, annualized USD.
