About the Role:

We seek an experienced Cardiology Heart Failure Specialist to join our team. As a critical member of our unit, you will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with colleagues to drive quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with acute or chronic CHF, including those with AFIB, CAD, STEMI, pacemaker, ICD placements, and LVADs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Prioritize quality patient care and patient safety above all, adhering to evidence-based practices and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut; BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
  • Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiology experience preferred; ACLS certification desired.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time positions available: 36 hours, Days Shift; 36 hours, Night Shift.
  • Part-time opportunities: 24 hours, Day Shift; 24 hours, Night Shift.
