Critical Care Nurse - Rotating Shifts for Congestive Heart Failure Unit
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Saint Francis Hospital. As a member of our Congestive Heart Failure Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our nationally recognized Center Of Excellence.
ResponsibilitiesIn this critical role, you will be part of a collaborative team, actively participating in unit shared decision making and enjoying practice autonomy using nurse-driven protocols. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct patient care to adults with acute or chronic congestive heart failure
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective nursing interventions
- Monitoring patients' responses to treatment and adjusting care plans as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program (BSN graduates preferred)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC) and ACLS certification (preferred)
- Experience working in acute care, medical-surgical, and congestive heart failure settings (preferred)
This is a per diem position with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. You will have the flexibility to choose your schedule and work at times that suit your needs.
