GameStop Seasonal Sales Associate Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with their video gaming needs, and recommending additional items as appropriate.
  • Support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to all store sales initiatives throughout the holiday season.
  • Collaborate with the store team to ensure a clean, organized, and merchandised store environment.
  • Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures, and transfer products from the stock room to the front of the store.
  • Support effective inventory control and loss prevention practices.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with guests.
  • Possess an outgoing and friendly personality with strong guest service skills.
  • Demonstrate clear verbal communication and listening skills using spoken and written English.
