The Solairus Aviation Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all aspects of maintenance performed on assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in corporate aircraft maintenance operations, with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance Leadership: Lead all maintenance activities of assigned aircraft, implementing maintenance standards, methods, and procedures established by Solairus Aviation.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for aircraft maintenance, parts, and labor, ensuring financial responsibility and cost control.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturers' recommendations, and company policies, including Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Team Management: Supervise and approve expenditures related to assigned aircraft, and coordinate maintenance training requirements with the Director of Maintenance.
- Safety Management: Participate in the Safety Management Systems and assume duties delegated by the Director of Maintenance, Manager of Maintenance Operations, and Client Aviation Manager.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with non-company personnel or Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs) performing maintenance on company aircraft, and conduct vendor evaluations for outside maintenance.
- Record Keeping: Ensure accurate maintenance records, including inspections, repairs, and component changes, airframe flight time, engine times, AD notes, and Service letters from manufacturers.
- Education and Certifications: Hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate aircraft maintenance operations.
- Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrate knowledge of the CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards, with proficiency in planning, implementation, and direction of maintenance programs and control systems.
- Personal Qualities: Be a highly motivated individual committed to safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, with the ability to remain fit for duty and abstain from drug and alcohol abuse.
