3D BIM Modeler

At Martin Concrete, we are seeking a highly skilled 3D BIM Modeler to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery process, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining 3D Building Information Models (BIM) for our commercial concrete construction projects.

• Develop and update 3D BIM models for concrete construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Create and manage detailed concrete formwork, reinforcement, and placement models, including integrating structural and architectural elements.
• Prepare and maintain BIM documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure that models are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve any conflicts/discrepancies between various building systems and components.
• Utilize BIM software (Tekla, SketchUp, Trimble Connect, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.) to enhance project visualization, analysis, and planning.
• Provide technical support and training to project team members on BIM-related processes and tools.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and project requirements.

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler in the concrete construction industry or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Certification in BIM or related software.
• Experience with 4D/5D BIM modeling (scheduling and cost management).
• Familiarity with advanced BIM tools and technologies such as point cloud data integration.
