Job Summary

Metropolitan Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a variety of simple and complex nuclear medicine procedures with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will assist in the ordering and inventory of supplies, provide assistance in tutoring and supervising subordinate technologists, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Assist in the ordering and inventory of radiopharmaceuticals and other supplies, maintaining a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Provide guidance and support to subordinate technologists, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in nuclear medicine technology, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a graduate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program, be registered as a Registered Technologist with Nuclear Medicine Technology Designation (R.T.(N)(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or be certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
