Sidel Group is seeking a highly skilled Productivity Engineer to join our team in Kansas City, MO. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be embedded on one of our client's facility for a dedicated mission of 12 to 18 months. Your primary objective will be to perform part of the Quality and Testing of new aseptic equipment at the plant, participate in commissioning, and provide service, maintenance, CIL, and troubleshooting of Sidel equipment at the customer site.

Your Mission

  • Apply, Coach, and Monitor Safety Requirements: Ensure compliance with plant-specific safety protocols, LOTO, GMPs, and HSES.
  • Identify Performance Improvement Opportunities: Analyze customer equipment, systems, and operations to recommend improvements that enhance OEE in a sustainable way.
  • Support Sidel Trainer for Operators and Maintenance Staff: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of customer staff.
  • Coach and Support Operational Activities: Assist with changeovers, line conversions, and other operational tasks as needed.
  • Support Maintenance Activities: Participate in CIL, SOPs, and other maintenance-related tasks.
  • Develop One-Point Lessons: Create and implement training programs to enhance the skills of customer staff.
  • Coach Customers Staff for Production and Maintenance Operations: Provide guidance and support to customer staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Activities: Participate in TPM initiatives to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on Site: Conduct RCA to identify and resolve issues affecting production.
  • Use Sidel Data Acquisition System: Analyze data to identify short-term and long-term actions required on the line.
  • Provide Recommendations on Plant Spare Parts Operations: Analyze and recommend improvements to spare parts management.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Associate Degree in Mechanic, Automation, Maintenance, or Mechatronics
  • Experience in the Beverage or Packaging Industry: Knowledge and experience in aseptic environments are essential.
  • 3 Years of Experience in Field and/or Plant Maintenance Activities
  • Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical, automation, electrical, and coaching skills.
  • Fluent Level of English: English is a must, and Spanish, Italian, and/or French are an advantage.
  • Availability to Travel: Willingness to travel for training and other business-related purposes.
