Position Title: Credit and Collections Specialist

Role Overview: The Credit and Collections Specialist plays a crucial role in managing cash inflows and ensuring accurate payment processing from clients. This position is responsible for maintaining up-to-date accounts receivable records, applying credits and collections efficiently, and addressing uncollectible amounts while reconciling miscellaneous discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various operational and sales teams to identify challenges, resolve disputes, and gather necessary customer information.
  • Evaluate and implement improvements in the collections process to enhance performance.
  • Process daily customer payments, including those received via lockbox, mail, and credit card transactions.
  • Provide weekly reports on collections metrics and the status of customer accounts.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
