Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team of telepsychiatric professionals. As a PMHNP, you will provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting, conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring that all care is delivered in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, utilizing your expertise in psychiatry and psychopharmacology.
- Prescribe medications as necessary, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
- Participate in regular clinical team meetings to discuss patient cases and clinical topics.
- Attend virtual clinical conferences, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Must have a PMHNP license and be open to licensing in alternative states.
- Prior work as a PMHNP is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical background in psychiatry, with expertise in diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
