Job Title: Durable Medical Equipment Technician

At StateServ, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Durable Medical Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Durable Medical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up medical equipment to patients in their homes, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and set up medical equipment to patients in their homes, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct safety assessments of patient environments to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment delivery, pick-up, and maintenance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on new medical equipment and technologies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • At least six months of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver medical equipment weighing up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent travel to patient homes, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. You will be exposed to various weather conditions and may be required to work in a warehouse environment. You will also be required to handle and transport compressed oxygen and other medical equipment.
