Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead group exercise classes for members of all fitness levels, incorporating safe exercise guidelines and best practices.
  • Build effective relationships with members, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and plan new classes for each quarterly session.
  • Follow center policies and procedures, responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest wellness trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science preferred.
  • At least one year of experience teaching group wellness classes, with a focus on water aerobics or aquatic exercise.
  • Water Aerobics Certification or equivalent required.
