Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at PCR Staffing. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to our production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance to production operations, including equipment setup, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Operate, adjust, and maintain all departmental production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve equipment issues and improve processes.
  • Lead and train associates on production floor, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure top performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Advanced Mechatronics Technology preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Set-up, Technical Associate, or equivalent.
  • Proficient with basic hand tools and knowledgeable of feeler gauges and other tools to measure tolerances, torque, and clearances.
  • Completed coursework in Schematics, Basic Principles of Mechanics, Industrial Electricity, Problem Solving for Mechanical Applications, and Introduction to Industrial Technology.
  • Basic electrical knowledge and experience with PLC's and pneumatic systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership experience or supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting cams, cam-followers, rod-ends, bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gearboxes, vacuum systems, pneumatic systems, and ball-valves.
