Key Responsibilities- Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
- Disassemble, inspect, clean and reassemble engines and/or engine components.
- Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines.
- Assist more experienced technicians with diagnostics and development of repair plans for engines in the workshop.
- Complete required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
- Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
- Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues/incidents to supervisors.
- (Intermediate):
- EV experience is required.
- Completes complex internal engine repairs.
- Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision.
- Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred).
- EV certification (Preferred).
- Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
- Locally valid driving permit (Preferred).
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
