This role requires you to practice professional nursing within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with patients and families
  • Communicating and collaborating effectively with the patient and healthcare team
  • Respecting patients' values, preferences, and needs

You will also be accountable for your professional actions, including adherence to the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and the ANA Standards of Professional Performance.

To be successful in this role, you should have a graduation from an accredited school of nursing, a BSN degree is preferred, and current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Connecticut. Clinical specialty certification is encouraged.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $85,000-$110,000 based on industry standards and location. Additionally, you can expect opportunities for advancement through our SPIRE clinical advancement program.
