Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our multidisciplinary team at the state-of-the-art Recovery and Wellness Center. As a Mental Health Nurse Specialist, you will provide prudent psychiatric and medical care, ensuring effective medication management and high client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including medication management and chronic disease management
  • Consult with multidisciplinary staff and community providers as needed
  • Generate referrals for acute, chronic, and preventive care
  • Educate patients on preventive care and chronic disease management
  • Conduct follow-up care and retrieve necessary lab and imaging reports
  • Submit encounters for accurate service authorization and coding

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have an MSN from an accredited program and be certified by the American Nurse's Credentialing Center as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing (Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist PMH-CNS and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMH-NP). Must be Board certified or eligible.
