Job Title: Clinical Specialist

Gateway Recruiting, INC. is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in training and supporting users of our products, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and support organ retrieval and transplant teams to ensure optimal product performance.
  • Provide remote and onsite support, including on-call duties for 15 days a month, to address any product-related issues.
  • Organize and conduct Site Initiation & Refresher Visits, training sessions, and centralized training events to educate users on product usage.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with transplant teams, internal management, and coworkers to ensure seamless product integration.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to create case study reviews and provide guidance on product performance.
  • Support managers, directors, and internal staff in various assignments, either remotely or onsite, to ensure product success.
  • Participate in R&D activities in lab settings under the direction of management to contribute to product development.
  • Work with liver transplant teams to collect data on livers perfused and preserved, building a database of product performance and use.
  • Ensure vendor credentialing requirements are current and pass routine background checks and drug screens.
  • Attend local, regional, national, and international meetings and conferences to stay updated on industry developments.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with end-users of all levels to ensure product satisfaction.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to expenses, email, and other communication activities to support product success.
  • Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items applicable to the role and follow work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance.
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in combination with equivalent medical experience, with 3+ years' experience in ICU, ECMO, Cath Lab, OR, Transplant, and ED.
  • Must possess the following qualities: highly flexible, detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Preferred Requirements: licensed RN, RT, RD, and/or a health science-related degree, industry experience in pharmaceutical or medical devices.
