NV5 is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team of experts in building code compliance. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that construction projects meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
  • Review building plans and specifications to identify potential code violations
  • Provide code-compliant solutions and recommendations to builders and developers
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of building plan reviews and inspections
  • Interact with builders, developers, architects, and engineers to resolve code-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes and regulations
Requirements
  • DBPR FL Mechanical Inspector Certification required or ability to attain
  • 3-5 years of experience in municipal code inspections
  • 5 years of experience as a Builder, Architect, Engineer, Building Inspector, or Building Superintendent
  • Good driving record
  • Active certifications in multiple disciplines (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing)
