Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication and coordination with project partners and the global Asset Management Team regarding operational, financial, and legal matters.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancements in commercial agreements to maximize investment value.
  • Optimize assets within the current portfolio while supporting asset development and acquisition efforts.
  • Lead daily operations and communications with joint venture partners and renewable energy developers, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Evaluate financial and operational risks linked to power markets and contractual agreements.
  • Assist in the development and negotiation of new business opportunities.
  • Stay informed about trends in the renewable energy sector and U.S. power markets.
  • Support routine and ad hoc financial reporting requests, providing management with insights on subsidiary financial performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in asset management of wind, solar, and/or battery storage projects.
  • Solid understanding of the deregulated U.S. power market fundamentals and financial derivative products used for revenue hedging.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, and tax functions within a corporate context.
  • Experience in developing and monitoring budgets.
  • Familiarity with business operations principles.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in the power industry.
  • Preferable knowledge of U.S. power markets, electricity trading practices, and negotiation of offtake agreements.
  • Understanding of financing, economic, and business concepts related to infrastructure and energy sectors.
  • Ability to quickly identify potential risks and innovate in rapidly changing environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel spreadsheet and modeling skills.
