Job Title: Staff Nurse: Part-Time Night Shift

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in Annandale, Virginia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:
  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or eligibility for licensure under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting, with 2+ years of L&D experience preferred.
  • Proficient in English, strong verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
