Job Description

The Recovery Specialist II provides support to individuals with mental health needs, focusing on their physical and psychological well-being. This role involves implementing direct care services according to individualized plans and Medicaid standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with clients, acting as a positive influence and problem-solver.
  • Provide safe and effective direct care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Document client activities, responses to interventions, and significant behavior changes as necessary.
  • Assist with client admissions and discharges, including associated documentation.
  • Collect specimens, obtain vital signs and weights, and assist with hygienic care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting, or a BA/BS degree with one year of experience in mental health.
  • Knowledge of basic nursing skills and interventions, as well as mental and physical health conditions and terminologies.
  • Certification as a CNA or its equivalent is acceptable documentation of nursing skills knowledge.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have valid CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications.

Benefits:

This position offers competitive compensation, including an estimated salary range of $26.31 - $31.72 per hour. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges, and the assigned pay range will be based on the location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
