Lead Substation Engineering Manager

Advantage Technical is in search of a Substation Design Manager to enhance our engineering capabilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in Substation Design or a closely related field is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor a small group of engineers in a cooperative and supportive environment.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant codes and industry standards, including the National Electric Safety Code (NESC), Rural Utility Service (RUS) Bulletins, and applicable IEEE Standards.
  • Expertise in various design software tools such as AutoCAD, Mathcad, and other engineering applications.
  • Familiarity with design software including Aspen One-Liner, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, Milsoft WindMil/LightTable, WinIGS, and GroundMat is advantageous.
