We are seeking an experienced and board-certified Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to join our team at Ochsner Children's Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to children with complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide inpatient and outpatient palliative care services for children
- Partner with medical, surgical, and mental health colleagues to serve children in multidisciplinary programs
- Teach medical students, residents, and allied health students
- Clinical research opportunities abound for qualified candidates
Ochsner Children's Hospital is the top congenital heart program in the state and has the largest and most comprehensive pediatric liver transplant program in the Gulf South.
We offer a full range of pediatric care from primary to quaternary care, with services offered in all subspecialties, including Congenital Cardiac Surgery, Advanced GI and Hepatology, Advanced Orthopedic Surgery, Hematology-Oncology, Cleft Palate/Cranio-Facial Surgery, as well as heart, liver, and bone marrow transplant.
