Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Distinguished Systems Engineering Expert to join our team at First Division Consulting in Stafford, VA. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the Marine Corps acquisitions by performing system engineering planning, coordination, and execution of cost, schedule, and performance aspects of programs.

About the Role
This position is ideal for a systems engineer with strong knowledge of acquisition and life-cycle management policies and procedures. As a Distinguished Systems Engineering Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical support to Project Officers and Lead Systems Engineers through all phases of the acquisition lifecycle. Your primary duties will include supporting the development of requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, preparing acquisition documentation, and reviewing technical data.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Officer(s) and Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) through all phases of the acquisition lifecycle from requirements development through operations and support.
  • Coordinate with various internal & external stakeholders in functional areas such as systems engineering, test and evaluation, and cybersecurity.
  • Prepare, review, and revise acquisition documentation applicable to the program through all phases of the acquisition cycle.
  • Maintain awareness of program status, execution, and milestones.
  • Review and assess technical, cost, and schedule data.

Requirements
This role requires an Active Secret Clearance and a Bachelor degree in engineering or science from an accredited university. You must have 5-8 years of experience supporting Government programmatic planning, coordination, and execution of cost, schedule, and performance of all aspects of Government programs.
