Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Neurology/Stroke unit. As a Staff Nurse, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and promote a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in Neurology and Stroke care.
Requirements:
  • New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an RN.
  • Basic Life Support Training.
  • Infection Control Training.
  • Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
  • Certification in Neurology specialty preferred.
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.
