Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including taking patient medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions, ensuring accurate and timely medical interventions.
  • Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments, in accordance with established protocols and patient-specific needs.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients regarding preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest medical advancements, research, and best practices through continuous professional development.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control protocols and healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and clinic operations.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Physician.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Physician, preferably in a walk-in clinic or urgent care setting.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant medical software.
