Responsibilities- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of patient safety.
- Monitor patient drug therapies and provide clinical consultation to practitioners to optimize medication regimens.
- Issue controlled substances to patient care areas and maintain records as required by law.
- Participate in quality improvement and medication use review activities to ensure the highest level of care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS in Pharmacy, an MS in Pharmacy, or a Doctor of Pharmacy.
- NYS Pharmacy license required. Oncology pharmacy board certification preferred (BCOP).
- Basic and advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
