Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Driver to manage a range of heavy and light-duty vehicles at various customer locations. The role encompasses both driving and non-driving responsibilities associated with hazardous waste management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
  • Operate commercial vehicles and support field laborers as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Drive a variety of Class A trucks.
  • Handle loading and unloading tasks for trucks.
  • Engage in manual labor on-site to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure proper placarding of vehicles in compliance with company and DOT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Safely operate vehicles according to U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements.
  • Follow corporate operating guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to all environmental health and safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating schedule.
  • Participate in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials handling as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid Class A CDL.
  • Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
  • Proficiency in using various mobile devices.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
  • Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard regarding facial hair.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a commercial driver.
  • Possession of Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
  • Prior experience handling hazardous materials.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Experience in manual labor roles.
