Your Contribution

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will:

  • Achieve designated KPIs, including sales growth and the generation of new business opportunities for assigned products, ensuring robust order income.
  • Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly forecasts and performance reports, including deviation analyses and action plans.
  • Establish pricing strategies for associated products and lead the creation of necessary pricing calculation frameworks.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate customer engagement strategies, including milestone planning and customer visitation schedules, focusing on interactions with key decision-makers.
  • Generate customer inquiries and quotations with the support of Customer Service and Inside Sales, authorizing pricing and managing the quotation review process.
  • Address customer complaints effectively, collaborating with Inside Sales and the quality department.

Additionally, you will:

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities, maximizing value creation through R&D collaborations and promoting our advanced optical products.
  • Monitor competitor activities and report insights to the Market Intelligence team, devising counter-strategies for your assigned market segment.
  • Conduct regular account planning, creating actionable plans with significant milestones and reviewing customer segmentation annually.
  • Serve as the primary local market expert within our Regional Sales Team for Industrial Equipment, overseeing strategic opportunities and customer development.

Fostering a high level of morale and providing clear direction to colleagues and other departments is essential. You will demonstrate strong teamwork skills, making decisions that reflect a global perspective while adhering to the organization's mission and policies.


Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optics, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline, with additional qualifications in economics or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Technical Sales, Management, Product Management, or Business Development, with a minimum of 3 years in the sales or engineering of technical products.
  • Knowledge of optical materials and components, including their properties and performance, is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in an intercultural environment, effectively building cross-national and functional teams.
  • A customer-centric approach and a deal-maker personality.
