Summary of Duties:
The role of Evening Facilities Supervisor is designed to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position involves:
- Maintaining cleanliness across various areas including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common spaces to uphold a sanitary and appealing atmosphere.
- Arranging furniture and equipment to facilitate meetings, educational activities, and special events.
- Conducting minor repairs and preventative maintenance to support the upkeep of the facility.
- Supervising custodial staff in collaboration with the head custodian and building administration to ensure effective facility management.
- Managing supplies and equipment necessary for custodial tasks to guarantee their availability.
- Providing information to students and staff regarding safety protocols and facility usage.
- Addressing immediate safety and operational concerns to maintain a secure educational environment.
- Securing the facility and grounds to prevent property damage and ensure safety.
Applicants should possess a strong understanding of custodial and maintenance practices, including compliance with safety training requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others to enhance the functionality and appearance of the school facilities.
