About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Dining Assistant to join our team at Ecumen Pathstone. As a Dining Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to our residents, families, and guests, ensuring all feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
- Serve meals to residents per diet order and portion size, ensuring all food is served at the proper temperature.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and efficiently organized work area, labeling, dating, and rotating products to ensure an adequate, fresh inventory of food and supplies.
- Operate all equipment, specific to duties, in a safe manner.
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned, accomplishing routine, daily, and weekly cleaning responsibilities.
- Notify supervisor if any changes in residents' personal health are observed.
- Respond to resident requests and special requests, concerns, or complaints, and promptly notify supervisor.
- Partner effectively with others in a demanding and changing environment, supporting all employees within the community as directed by the leadership team.
- Assist with special functions as directed.
- Demonstrate respect for facility property and supplies.
Requirements:
- 16 years of age
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility, including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
