Behavioral Health Services Manager

About the Role
PACE Southeast Michigan seeks an experienced Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional care and services to older adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive behavioral health services to PACE participants, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
- Educate and counsel participants on healthy behaviors, disease management, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and implementing evidence-based solutions.
- Develop and facilitate in-service training programs, sharing expertise and best practices with colleagues.
- Foster strong relationships with primary care providers, mental health professionals, and community stakeholders to advance participant outcomes.
- Participate in program development, contributing to the design and implementation of innovative services and interventions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Masters-level degree in social work or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Michigan; limited license may be considered depending on experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in integrated care models, particularly Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH).
- Extensive experience working with older adults, individuals with serious mental illness, and co-occurring disorders.
- Proven ability to evaluate, plan, implement, and monitor patient-centered approaches to care.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity when interacting with diverse populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan and generous paid time off.
