Are you seeking a new and exciting chapter in your career journey? We invite you to join our dynamic team at Story County Medical Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) within our Senior Care department.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and toileting residents. You will utilize your knowledge from CNA training to properly position, ambulate, transfer, and lift residents. Additionally, you will monitor resident conditions through vital signs, intake and output, and collection of specimens.

Promoting resident self-esteem is a key aspect of this role, as you will respect privacy, converse in a kind and respectful manner, and encourage resident independence in activities. Effective communication with nursing staff, medical staff, and all other departments is also essential.

We are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about optimizing patient care. To be eligible for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be active on the CNA Registry, and complete an Adult Mandatory Reporter within 90 days of employment. A valid authorization to work in the United States is also required.

While a year of experience in long-term care and knowledge of Point Click Care and Point of Care are preferred, we encourage candidates with relevant skills and education to apply. Key Responsibilities:
