Job Title

A Regulatory Compliance Analyst position is available at the Educational Federal Credit Union.

Job Overview

The primary function of this role is to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. This involves coordinating compliance initiatives with other departments, tracking compliance management centrally, and serving as a liaison with various business units for compliance updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular compliance assessments and quality control reviews to test and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Centrally track compliance-related policies and procedures, ensuring timely reviews.
  • Interpret existing and emerging regulations, making procedural recommendations to improve operations, risk, and compliance functions.
  • Utilize internal and external resources to gain a deeper understanding of practices and processes, as well as compliance implications.
  • Support project managers with interdepartmental special projects related to the Credit Union's Compliance Program.
  • Provide assistance to business units in developing and implementing new compliance policies, disclosures, and procedures, as well as training programs.
  • Evaluate business units throughout the organization to understand workflows, processes, data collection, reporting needs, and technical issues supporting compliance processes.
  • Assist during regulatory examinations and external audits.
  • Participate in compliance-related risk assessments.
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to reporting on the status of regulatory compliance activities to executive management and the Board of Directors, as applicable.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent combination.
  • 4-7 years of experience in regulatory compliance or audit within the financial services industry.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000 per year, based on the job title, responsibilities, and location. The Credit Union offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation time. Additionally, employees are eligible for retirement/401K plans with matching contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and long-term disability coverage. Tuition reimbursement is also available for undergraduate and graduate courses.
