Job Summary:

The Perlite Packaging Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient packaging of perlite products according to customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect work areas and equipment prior to beginning tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Execute electrical-related repairs and preventative maintenance for SandBox equipment to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Install new equipment, machinery, and facilities using blueprints and installation manuals to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform maintenance on all equipment, facilities, and machinery in accordance with established schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, facilities, and machinery, using diagnostic equipment and calibration devices to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Determine proper methods and materials used in repairs to ensure quality and safety.
  • Hoist, transport, and position equipment as required using cranes and powered vehicles to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Clean up and perform other duties as assigned to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work as a part of a team with co-workers of various skill levels to achieve common goals.
  • Skilled in welding, cutting, and rigging to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to run fabrication and hoisting equipment to support operations.
  • Ability to work from elevated spaces in all weather conditions to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Ability to operate all equipment on site to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet without a lift to ensure safe and efficient operations.
