Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at LIMSET-UM6P. The successful candidate will contribute to the expansion of our research programs in all-solid-state batteries, with a focus on the design and synthesis of novel inorganic electrode/electrolyte materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and synthesize novel inorganic electrode/electrolyte materials
  • Investigate thermodynamics-electrode/electrolyte interfacial structure-property relationships
  • Develop innovative approaches to minimize cell polarization
  • Develop novel electrolyte chemistries to improve battery performance
  • Implement strategies to enhance the manufacturing processes for electrode and electrolyte materials
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to scientific knowledge dissemination
Requirements
  • PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related disciplines
  • Strong motivation and passion for research in the field of batteries and inorganic materials chemistry
  • Ability to perform multidisciplinary research and contribute to funded research programs
  • Proven ability to identify and fulfill academic writing requirements
  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
