Job Title: Scientist II

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist II to join our team at R&D Partners. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for supporting early-stage projects in biotechnology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-throughput protein production from mammalian transient cultures using CHO and HEK293 cells.
  • Maintain seed train cell cultures in bioreactors and shake flasks, adhering to established protocols.
  • Operate liquid handlers, such as Tecan and Hamilton, for automated processes.
  • Participate in troubleshooting production or platform processes, and contribute to improving existing cell culture platforms.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new platforms to deliver diverse protein and cellular reagents.

Requirements:

  • PhD with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry.
  • Experience with suspension-adapted mammalian cell culture (CHO and/or HEK293).
  • State-of-the-art transient and stable protein expression experience.
  • Relevant bioreactor experience.
  • Hands-on experience with automation and liquid handlers.
