We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist II to join our team at R&D Partners. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for supporting early-stage projects in biotechnology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-throughput protein production from mammalian transient cultures using CHO and HEK293 cells.
- Maintain seed train cell cultures in bioreactors and shake flasks, adhering to established protocols.
- Operate liquid handlers, such as Tecan and Hamilton, for automated processes.
- Participate in troubleshooting production or platform processes, and contribute to improving existing cell culture platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new platforms to deliver diverse protein and cellular reagents.
Requirements:
- PhD with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry.
- Experience with suspension-adapted mammalian cell culture (CHO and/or HEK293).
- State-of-the-art transient and stable protein expression experience.
- Relevant bioreactor experience.
- Hands-on experience with automation and liquid handlers.
