Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team in Pueblo, Colorado.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our team's success. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, interpreting images, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various modalities, including 2D, 3D, and Doppler imaging.
  • Interpret ultrasound images and provide accurate diagnoses to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications in various medical specialties.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices in the field.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure if required by law. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
